VTD or ASA Updates

by Vess Express » Wed Dec 02, 2009 12:37 pm

Does anyone know if ASA is going to have it's own website to sign up for tournaments? If not, how will everyone know what tournaments are out there?

Also, can VTD become a governing body? Someone told me that on their video message on their website, that was in VTD's plan.

Any news on how teams/players will register next year?

Is this the new Texas ASA Tournament portal? Or did I stumble onto something that is old and decayed?

For ASA, that's a good question!

So - they only have one tournament posted that's in Abilene? That's the problem I have a lot when I go on ASA websites. A lot of old, or not very useful info.

Thanks for the website. I have not used that before.

Visted the ASA site and thought this was especially helpful:

ASA Men's E/Rec. Southern Slow Pitch, Killeen

ASA Men's Church Slow Pitch, Dallas

ASA Men's Masters 45-Over Slow Pitch, Waxahachie

ASA Coed Major Slow Pitch, San Antonio

Yeah but it only lists the tournaments for 2009...so basically none are posted for 2010 yet...

I think it's the right site beause it talks about 2009 national champions for different divisions of fastpitch...

I think it is the right site, but it's a problem I always have when looking up things on ASA websites.

I can find info. on the Men's Slowpitch Church league, but I can't seem to find things I'm looking for on girl's fastpitch.

Like, on that website, it says right at the top, 10U A southern nationals. I would think if you clicked on that line, it would bring up results since it was played back on 7/31-8/2/09. Yet, all it has is how to sign up for the tournament, what the fees are, and who the tournament director is.

Ahem...ahhh, I was trying to point out that the ASA site includes slowpitch fricken' church league... of which none of us gives a rat's anus about, while VTD was (and perhaps still is) about girl's fastpitch.

JOE--your true stupidity is hanging out.."texasasa.com" is about.....drum roll please....ASA in TEXAS only smart one, therefore, they cover news and events in the state of...TEXAS..dumb a$$.

If you took time to read through the site, you might have been able to add 2 and 2 together, however your hatred for ASA clouded your judgement....this is an already established site...been using it for years to find national tournaments in Texas.

REGISTERASA.COM is still supposed to be the site for registering teams, posting tournaments, purchasing insurance, requesting travel permits, doing background checks, etc...

I hope VTD does make it and thrive...sure hope that PONY stuff comes back strong!! lol
