The Elite showcase used the Revfire at their Plano showcase/camp last month and last year they had a booth at the RM tournament but it hasn't made it to the camp yet. They really need to add it.
The RM camp wasn't a total loss this year but the weather forced it indoors making it much less appealing and very congested. Some girls did certain drills that others didn't because of time I guess, of course they couldn't time the home to home speed either. There were a few coaches there but not nearly as many as last year when it was able to be done at the fields and many left after the pitchers were done.

I hate that saying. Hitting a 62 mph ball is not as easy as you make it sound. Picking up the release point, body movement, the pitchers delivery style all come into play. That is a myth...Not everyone can hit a 62mph ball down the middle. I ll take the fireballer and live with the balls in play from 5-9 on the roster. Gold rosters are watered down in Texas, not everyone is Nadia Taylor.

So a little more number crunching just for fun - using the average time or speed of each player's two or three trials

For fastball speeds, one needed 62mph or better to be in the top 10%, the middle of the pack was 57mph as REALLY posted

For pop times, a 1.89sec time or better was top 10%, and the 50th percentile was 2.05 seconds

For home-1st times looking at both infielders and outfielders together, the top 10% was faster than 2.8sec and the 50th percentile was 3.05sec
