OK Force 99 WHO R THEY and WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT THEM?

by leftyjones » Mon Oct 05, 2009 9:27 am

This team sounds like they might be the one to beat so everyone says. What do you know about them and how do they compare to Worth Cobras 99? Or any of the top 5 Houston teams:?:

They have a great defensive team, very selective at the plate and when they swing the bats, they hit it fairly well. One of the most aggresive teams on the bases that you will see without running into outs like Cobra's tend to do. Never sure how good the pitching is going to be like with most 10U teams, but the pitcher that I saw at Southlake tourney 2 weekends ago was hittable, a lot of balls put in play, defense just doesn't make any errors.

They are a very good team... one really good pitcher (rest are okay) backed by a good (I did not say great) infield and a lot of good hitters/base runners.

I could understand why they would roll through DFW with no problems, they are more experienced than all but a few of the teams in the area. There are also not very many really good '99 pitchers in the DFW area that have the sticks and the D to back them up... easy win for them, they only had to beat 1 good team.

Let other teams in this area face them... like the Kruzers (who can hang with them '99 in DFW????..Sox beat em in ITB as visitor, no Glory yours does not count '98 pitchers are gonna be your downfall in the spring)... so okay... or the Sox (don't let the size fool You, they are pure '99 and hit everyone's pitching), I think they could split with them.... the rest of us get smoked by them.

They are a very good team... like I said there are only a few teams in this area that can hang with them, the rest of us have a lot of work to do just to catch up in DFW... no matter how many tournaments your team has won that no good/experienced teams attended!
