The fact is they like to talk a big game but in the end they are playing in a B tournament. Yes, it is 14U and they are 12U, but why play a B if you are trying to position yourself as an A team. Unless of course, it is trying to pad those stats.

The bigger question beyond just this team is why any team that considers themselves to be a Top 5 in their area, would classify themselves as B??? But its time for everyone to step up to the plate and play the big boys and not worry so much about trophies or win/loss records. It is about competition and making your team stronger. If that truly is your team's direction, than why not classify yourself as an A team and roll with it. After all, if you are gonna talk the talk, you better be able to walk the walk.

I overheard someone close to Dbat the other day saying that Mark said he's going to play out there next week since they are playing 16U. He wants to get a trophy to build some confidence with his team before going to 16U and all of his parents thought it would be a good idea to get his kids used to playing together in a walkthrough bracket like Hurst.

I call BS on this. I know almost for a fact that they are not tryin to play know 14U tourneys in DFW. To these dudes credit thou those 8 in hurst plus theze:

16U sept 25th is the same way. there's like 15 or somethin "A" teams playing at Gateway. Same deal here. You got an A tournament right there! Who am I kidding though? The only teams with nationals writtin on 'em is them 2 fusion teams (and in 14U!!). The rest of those guys just threw on the A class cause it looked cool on VTD. I just a big old game of follow the b-ballers until you get to 18u
