Texas Royals earned their bid and passed up the chace to play the Texas Elite for Regional Champs. Both Teams got their bid.......any reason to play????
I've noticed Gold does that.....once teams qualify.........their tournaments end.
Play or NOT play????

I think it all depends on the situation.
In this case one team was from Waco and the other from San Antonio. I bet the Royals wanted to get home before midnight so the opted out. If it were two Houston area teams I would think it would be played.
I wonder if this happen at State, NQ, or the Metros.
Out of all of the 16U Texas teams going to KY. Which teams have the best shot to get top 20, or maybe even Top 10. I have seen the Travlers-Beard team and they seem to be good. I would think that one of the teams from Houston would be able to compete well. Central Texas has the Bombers and Blaze. They are both young teams so you would not expect alot, but you never know.

The Travelers-Beard team is Real good! and I think they will give it a helluva run! As well I think teams had better watch out for Texas Glory-Naudin and I think the wild card of em all will be the Bombers-Black team...I have seen them a few times this summer and they are scary good! Either way I hope a Texas team shows well and does Texas proud! Good luck to all of them!

Wish I was going to be their to see some of the Texas teams play. I just hope that the TD updats brackets online. I hate it when they say they are and they do it two days later.
The Travelers team is good. The last time I watched them play, they had it all. Speed, pitching and hitting. I have seen the Bombers play a few times this year. I watched them play the Blaze in Austin a month ago. I am not sure of the score, but I do know that the Blaze won big. The Bombers team is good, but I do not know if they have the pitching. They have the hitting and great team speed. Their coach pulls every thing out of them.
The Glory teams should also be very good. They have a great pitcher who shold be able to keep them in alot of games. I do not know the Houston area teams that well.

Travelers and Glory have a outside shot, but the rest are too young or not very good. None of these teams have really made any noise.......none of these teams have really played each other. I have no idea how anyone can say they're better than the next team
