Coaches and or parents, please document issues that you may have with this tournament. The floor is yours.

Brackets out late (Thurs morning)
12U location was wrong (should have been Ford Park)
12U games had teams scheduled for first and last game of day
Austin team scheulded for 6:30 pm on Sunday - had to switch with another team to avoid forfeit
Results still not posted as of Wed morning
Fields re-striped only at beginning of day
Wish they could have moved some games to Allen Station fields to avoid having such late games on Sunday (8pm)

Otherwise, it was a good tournament ;)

There's no reason why you can't make your post under one username....since it's obvious you're talkng to yourself on this rookie thread.

As for Allen...for years they've run some of the best, highest quaility tournaments in the area. Everyone's entitled to a bad day or weekend now and then...and since there's always a waiting list to get in...I'll bet if you post your team's name, they would be happy to let you sit the next one out.

Just an opinion based on playing other tournaments. That's all. Good teams and umpires were very good and pretty consistent. Tournament format allowed for a ton of games to be played but since it was based on a point system, winners had to be determined after all games played.

As far as the striping, we played a late game and the lines were simply not there. It was difficult for the girls to determine whether to go after the bunt or let it go foul.

Just my feedback and 2 cents... not intended to offend at all.

I don't think anyone was offended. I hope I didn't offend you. I was just stating my opinions in a roundabout way that things like playing softball, having fun, and watching our girls grow as players is what is important to me.
