A friend of mine was at the Ronald McDonald tournament this last weekend and witnessed and amazing act of kindness. So he checked up on what was happening and this is what he found out:
The Texas Bombers Gold went to play in New Jersey a month or so ago and found out about a story of a young promising softball player that had been murdered recently. The young lady played college softball and had played for one of the New Jersey select teams in the tournament and the Bombers found out about the young ladies story. The Bombers then found out that the select team would be coming to the Ronald McDonald tournament and decided to raise money to give to the team to take back to the young girls family. He said what he witnessed was as moving as anything he had ever seen in softball in a long time. The Bombers walked over to their field and presented them with a check for over a $1000. The team they gave the money to was shocked!....way to represent Texas!
These are the stories we do not get hear enough about!

WHAT A GREAT GESTURE, way to represent TEXAS!
As a parent of a player I cannot even imagine having to survive something like this. A friend of mine lost his 17yr old daughter in the same manner. The check was a great idea but the thought behind it was PRICELESS!
