The actions of 1 person, whether it be fair or not, are enough to bring down a whole organization and based on that; I would be of the opinion that this whole Donkeys thing is a classless joke. They are a complete pick-up team and making a mockery of organized softball. Please keep having your fun looking like a complete tool on hb.com. Regardless of how you fare in McKinney, your team is a complete joke and shame on your for making your girls look like a bunch of jerks also.

They won't look like jerks when they go home on Saturday night carrying a trophy.

Since you seem to live vicariously through your daughter, I wish you luck in her endeavors but a trophy will not be a determining factor as to how you portray yourself on this site.

I never received an answer as to whether or not the team has ANY core players or is ALL pickups. Just curious. Enjoy your tourney in McKinney. My dd's team will not be there. Maybe we'll catch you guys next time. @JoeRussell56- didn't the "coach" of the "team" state that you in no way represent this team. You really are doing them an injustice with all you ranting.

If you dd is a 12U why not tell the coach to sign up and come out and play 6!

I'm sure they don't really care if they win or loose they just want to play because maybe there team is off that week or something, who knows! If ur mad because they might take a trophy home instead of one of the other teams I'm sure they would give it to you! they might even go out there and get what is comming to them! And at the end of the day all that matters is you got to play ball and get better! I encourage all teams to bring your A Game and put it on there Ass because that is what they want, not to win but to get better!

BB it not whats on the outside that counts, its how they perform!

I have seen plenty of teams with names like Comets, Flash, Rockets, Giants, etc etc
They brought disgrace to those names!

The mighty donkey is a stout creature and has a fearsome bite, not to mention a quick tail for swatting 12U teams! LOL

On the other hand the players who play for the Donkeys are proud of the name and they like to give the old donkey yell HEE HAW HEE HAW!

To all 12U teams in Texas and in special regards to the McKinney IFA qualifier for April 3.
I am writing to convey to all that my declarations regarding the Dallas Donkeys in the upcoming April 3 tournament was in no way meant to cast aspersions on any team or persons.
My only purpose was to bring notice to the tournament and to hopefully recruit as many teams as possible to be a part of it.
I have no affiliation with the IFA, umpires or any other organization.
I only represent myself.
I am glad to see that some very strong teams like Texas Legend , Twist and Force signed up and those are teams I have a very high regard for.
We had a lot of fun with this in January at White Settlement and again that was my intent.
If I have offended anyone you have my sincerest apology.

The Dallas Donkeys ride again but it was in Irving not McKinney.
The IFA moved the tournament! LOL
To all of you who dislike the Donkeys, for whatever reason, I am sorry to disappoint you but they played pretty good in Irving and walked out of the tournament with a 2nd place trophy!
They also played one of the best “come back” games I have had the privilege of seeing versus the Lubbock Psychos.
Every player, parent and spectator who was in the Irving facility was watching this game!
The Donkeys finally turned on the “gas” and downed a resilient Lubbock team 12-6.
My compliments go to the Texas Twist who played and defeated the Donkeys in the Championship game that ended Sunday morning at 12:30 AM.
I understand that the Donkeys are headed for the barn now for a much needed R&R.
However, fear not, that whenever resentment, hatred and apathy raise its angry head in the softball community the mighty Dallas Donkeys will be back!


Oh yes, the final four for Irving was: Twist, Donkeys, Psychos and Force good job to the final four and all teams that played in Irving!
