Hugs and kisses!!

Not the Mgr. I would rather be a team that makes it to the BIG Dance and chooses not to dance, rather than a team that can't. Probably like yours! I feel the need to let you win this debate so you can feel what winning is, but you would probably misunderstand the feeling you would get and become confused. The way I see it is you are either a team that couldn't make to the end or are the other team that did. Either way get a life! By the way we don't need luck!
I'm sorry if we hurt your feelings![/quote]

Question is: Can you dance?

Sometimes we forget the main reason we play softball....for the girls to have FUN and to hone their skills

Personally, My family was up at 5:30 AM to get to the park on time. If I was in the Crossfire's situation, I might have wanted to do the same. The girls are only 10 years old. Winning might be important, but it's not everything.

I have to give it to the Crossfire, they looked sharp against us and #12 piched an awesome game. I am looking forward to our team playing them in the future.

Anyway...I changed my avatar from Vice to Angel1 as that's my DD team and number.

I thought there was some really good teams playing in spring this weekend. We played the Angels tough in our second bracket game. The Angels know how to hit the ball and are able to play small ball when needed. That 8 o'clock in the morning is tough. Watched the Crossfire play the Angels and the Crossfires pitcher was hitting her spots. Crossfire can hit the ball too. Humble and Pearland were playing at the same time, it was also a good game. Pearland pulled out a big come from behind win in what looked like was going to be a route in the beginning. Good games, good coaches and good teams out there this weekend. Look forward to the rest of the year. The GTS girls are steadily improving each week and working hard. We lost a heartbreaker to the Hustle in ITB. We had several chances to put it away but the Hustle hung in there forcing GTS into making mistakes and won a hard fought game.

So what happen this past weekend? What happen to all the good Dallas teams??? From what I saw and heard Houston doesn't have anything to worry about. From what I read on Heybucket the Texas Bombers 99 are supposed to be a team to beat.......but can someone tell me why they are playing in USFA "B" :-) I guess when they faced the Houston teams a few weeks back they thought they better take a step back.......is that correct??? The poll board needs to be updated!!

The poll has been updated. These are the only teams left that have a chance to be on top. Who will it be?

Too bad there are so many parent egos & coaches with egos that these 5 teams couldn't combine for 1 really awesome team. Only in a DREAM world!

OR in ANGEL BALL WORLD, oh but wait didn't they try to do that???? I guess it didn't work.

I thought that I saw Dallas area teams finish 2nd and 3rd. Is that a bad finish for Dallas? It was the first big tourney of the year with teams from all over the state. I am sure teams will work out what ever kinks might have been in the armor.
