Outlaws struggled with hitting everything off the end of the bat due to the slow speed of the pitcher. Outlaws won 3-1 over the Phantomz in a great game, beat Triple Threat 6-0, beat the Shockwave Blue 4-0 in a 45 minute game, and tied TPS 3-3. For the Outlaws only having a couple of practices together and this being our first showing, we are all very excited!!!

Which kids is yours Wildcat? You guys definately have the talent but I dont think you can keep it together. So who is running the show? Inquiring minds gotta know :?
Any ideas how the Phantomz and TPS did over all?

Enquiring minds should have been there if you are on a team yet??

Sorry old friend, we were at another park.
Whats the difference between Inquire and Enquire?
What you get by achieving your goals is not as important as what you become by achieving your goals.

Per you other post on a different thread, I think State gives out a couple of berths don't they??

The "State tournament" and the "Region 7 Championship" are the same tournament. In addition to that "State" tournament there are four Metro tournaments with the top two from each advancing. Last year nobody advanced from San Antonio Metro because only two teams entered. I think those teams went to the "State" tournament to try to advance. We were told last year that the National qualifier in Pearland this year would advance three teams instead of one, but that is not how it reads on HoustonASA.org. Sure enough they don't list a "regional" tournament , but they only show 1st place advancing from the National qualifier. Houston area teams should be upset since Dallas Metro gets two berths and so does the Fort Worth Metro. You always have the option of taking your team to another state to try to win a berth....

Your original post on this topic was entirely correct however this one is not. The Region 7 championship is open to all teams from region 7 and the top 2 advance to Moline. It is being held at a much earlier date this year(June 4-6 in Killeen) . The state championship is in Tyler Tx on June 25-27. It is open to all teams that do not belong to a Metro association. This has not changed. The top 3 advance to Moline.
