Weather.com has rain stopping by noon on Friday and sunshine the rest of the weekend. Hopefully, the fields drain well.

Murfreesboro, TN event has been cancelled and rescheduled for 11/14 and 11/15 so it looks like cleaning the leaves out of the gutters for me.

I may need a pick up player or two for that weekend and will post something if so.

The brewery tour is always a good time though if it is raining.

Friday's rain impacted the game schedule. Friday's combine was moved indoors, and all Friday games were cancelled. The weather cleared on Saturday, but it was windy and cold. The Ellisville fields were not available at all on Saturday, and the Chesterfield fields needed to be dried out. The TDs did a tremendous job rescheduling 120 teams. Games were shortened to 55 minute drop dead in order to get four games in for each team. Twisters first game was 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, then three games on Sunday starting at 7:00 a.m. (thank you DST for the extra hour of sleep). Sunday weather was gorgeous! College coaches were all over the place. Finished up at 4:00 p.m. for the long drive home made longer by the time zone difference. Stopped for food, gas, and pee and got home at 10:15 p.m. Indiana time. All in all a good weekend.

DD's team played in this as well. 45 minutes from home. We had 5 inches of rain total from Thursday into that Friday. Arrived Sat. at 8:00 didn't play until 3:00 long day. However, worth it. Sunday beautiful. We were fortunate to have college coaches at all games and in double figures. DD was invited to several "unofficial visits." Ironic, some coaches that had liked her a lot didn't seem interested at all afterwards. Others, that had shown no interest showed a lot of interest. They were at the same games. Doors open and close. Recruiting - you just have to love it. BTW, for many parents, TAKE A CHILL PILL! Most have great kids. Who cares if they get full rides? Your great kid will still be a great kid!
