Greenwood, IN Tournaments

by Pridefpsb17 » Wed Dec 07, 2011 7:58 am

Working on our 2012 schedule and am interested in a tournament at Greenwood, IN.

Anyone care to share info about the park, competition, local hotes?

Thanks!

Center Grove Invite - May 11th to 13th - NSA WSQ

Center Grove Lassie League
110 Morgantown Rd.
Greenwood, IN 46142

Should be some good competition. Looks like 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U an 18U.

Hotels are everywhere on southside of Indy.

Another one at the CGLL is the CG Sunburst NSA WSQ on 6/29 to 7/1.

Sunburst is same weekend as NSA B Central State and ASA State so may have some trouble getting teams.

Just don't spit in the creek, or the diamonds will be flooded.

Slapper, when is the last time you played there? Over the past five years, they have been continually improving drainage, slope, etc trying to keep water away from the diamonds. It's much improved, but there is only so much you can do to avoid heavy storms...especially if you are in a "flood zone", lol
