IHSAA does it again!!

It may take 2 or 3 days to get the 4A final in! Like 2 years ago, they(IHSAA) let a good Sunday go by and will miss out on the monday night game to weather! These girls and (boys for that matter) play every Sunday from 10U on! Now they will have people sitting around waiting for the rain to stop!I'm guessing half the girls left yesterday to join thier summer teams and played today! Start playing games on Sunday!!

That would require a change in IHSAA By-Laws. Contact your principal, he can propose it. But don't hold your breath, the next meeting is May of 2011, it's an annual meeting. I'm guessing however that having high school events in Indiana on a Sunday would never happen.

You can't buy carry-out liquor, you can't sell a car, and you can't play HS sports on Sunday in Indiana. That's what makes us Hoosiers.

Good point Cool!! Slapper, It was brought in 08 after it took 5 days to get it done! But it looks like it was just talk!! Raining like hell at BD right now!!

Snoop, I have no doubt it's been "talked" about. But it does require a change in the IHSAA B-Laws which can only be done at the annual meeting the first of May. I has to be proposed by a principal to get on the meeting agenda. I'm not arguing that it should or shouldn't be done. I'm just saying, the IHSAA will NEVER allow it.

I'm with ya slap!!! I'm just glad I don't live in Terre Haute! Coming back again today and a good chance they won't get it done again! Better get done by Friday!! First game in Jasper at 5:15. We need our player back!
