We're in as long as the trophies are nice and doesn't interfere with tennis.

It's my understanding the pay for play in Franklin Township will be implemented next school year; not that it really matters. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

We can speculate, but no one knows the long term ramifications of the pay for play policy. Many states have done this for years, and there's no evidence that participation in HS athletics took a nosedive. I hope that FC admins and board members mentioned the possibility of cutting the pay for play costs back, or eliminating them entirely, once the cash flow gets under control. Of course one only needs to look at the gas and oil industry to see that it's hard to go back to "rational sense" when people are willing to fork out cash.

Pay to play lives in our area. $125 for first sport, $100 for second sport and $75 for the third. There is no additional cost if participating in 2 sports in the same season (Fall, Winter &/or Spring).

Would you pay $900 to play one sport?? That's the number floating around FC! $600 to play and $300 transportation fee! If you paying that much, how do you work playing time! Which is already an issue at FC!!
