2.Never get lost
3.If you get lost, look cool

Indiana Shockwaves 93 finished 4th at USA/ASA Nationals last summer.

They are the best 16U team in the Midwest.

FF,
Agree 100%! Have been for awhile! But, Md ask for top "dogs"! So, i gave him more than one! You could throw a few more in there also! Gators and Wizards can be a tuff out sometimes! I do know the Dreams have beat the "waves" the last 2 times they have played! Chicago and Terre Haute. But nobody hold a candle to them when it comes to National finishes!! That's when it counts!

14U: Top team should be the Indy Dreams-Montgomery; they were state champs as 1st years and finished well at Nationals. The Shockwaves will also be very good again. The Indy Blast should be the best 1st year 14U team in the area.

16U: Shockwaves and Dreams (Reese) should be the best in the area as mentioned. However, lots of quality 16U teams like Indy Extreme, CG Wizards and can't count out the Diamond Chix.

Mr. Doane,

I meant no disrespect to any of the other 16U teams, especially Tom's team. I have a lot of respect for Tom and his team.

But, it's like arguing the New York Yankees are not the best team in baseball. Hard to do when they are the reigning World Series Champions, and have the most championships.

I didn't think you were putting down any other team, TC's included. As far as I know, he hasn't ever played SW 93 since up to this year (six seasons) he has pretty much stayed at his age appropriate level with mostly 95 players. His current 16U team is made up of 95's, 94's and 93's. He just believes, as I do, that statements such as the one you wrote, more often than not come back to haunt you. We don't mind friendly banter, but the serious job of "who's #1" is decided on the field. If the SW 93 are as good as you say, we would hope to play them them as we always look forward to a challenge.

(btw, if we are talking "pedigree, I believe he has a 9th and 13th at ASA Nationals, as well as 3 NSA state tiltes and 3 Chicago metro championships. Last year, 2nd at NN with just one healthy pitcher...would have loved to go to Marrietta, but just didn't have the healthy pitching guns to do it.)
