Who are the big tough teams at 10u level A?? are there any?

by Jeremy B. » Fri Mar 04, 2011 7:43 pm

Xtreme 00 will be playing the following out of state this year....

May 21-22: Orland Park Sparks Invitational - Chicago area
June 10-12: Bat Wars in Columbus, OH
July 10-16: USFA 10u "A" Nationals, Panama City Beach, FL

We were also going to play the "Laser Nation by Invitation", but USFA State is the same weekend (have to play state to qualify your nationals berth).

Hi All, I just discovered this website and thread, I am finding this very interesting with some really good points about 10U travel ball, 2011 will be our programs first season, I am somewhat new to the 10U game so to have a forum such as this is great. Does anyone have any more specific info on the Laser Nation Tournament, it sounds like a great tournament for 10U and depending on the dates we may be interested.

Lasers and Stingray's are both very good all age groups. However, deadlines for reg is somewhere around Thanksgiving. You may get lucky if a team drops out, but they usually have to turn many teams away.

It is that time of year when tournaments fill up and some fall apart. Where are the "places to be"? Lasers and Sparks are both full for 10U with waiting lists. NSA "A" State in Columbus is not hefty yet, but "B" Central has alot of teams. "B" North is filling up well. Anyone playing in Diamonds of the South?

ASA never has anyone at the 10U level in central IN. Stingray's, Laser's, and Spark's have been three best around for a while now. I also here GAPSS in OH is another good one. All fill quickly and need to be applyed for in Nov. Or Dec. NSA A State will be Heat, CP, Magic, Xtreme, Gators 2001, and maybe NWI Sox. That's prob going to be it. Last year had Thunder and Cyclones, but no Indy Thunder this year and Center Grove does not have an A team this year. Xplosion are playing B and Crush will not be playing A.

So where are all of the 10s playing world series/nationals? I see that Crown Point is undecided, but I assume NSA A or USA/ASA, Gators 01 NSA A, Xtreme USFA A,

How bout

NWI Sox-thought I heard USA/ASA or ASA Northern?
Heat-website did say NSA A, but now says NSA B?
Edge-midwest all sanction again?
Saw Rockets, Brats w/ Bats, Camby Chaos, and some others listed as USFA B
assume Magic 01-NSA A?
Red Chix?
Etc.........will be fun to see who could meet on a national stage.

Bake, if u don't mind me asking, why is NWI Sox not playing NSA A State in Columbus? Have heard good things about the team and would be fun to see them there w/ the other teams that have been talked about. IIf your looking for competition, this will be the top in the state.
