Who are the big tough teams at 10u level A?? are there any?

by itsallgoodindahood » Sat Apr 02, 2011 12:10 pm

tryme I think Chopper is talking about the CP 10u Bulldogs. Chopper, Maybe they are a young team? They looked to have a couple girls that were 9 and hadn't had a lot of experience at their positions before. It is still early, I am sure they will work out the kinks like every other team does.

What would being a young team have to do with being disliked from here to Florida? Seems like that comment is more personal. Just curious which team is disliked from here to Florida with the ignorant leaders ??

From what I know now about Indiana Heat picking up 2 girls, they just went from a top 3 team to the top team. Anyone else know about this? Wow!!!

From what I have heard they picked up the two who were run from Xtreme. Not sure it suddenly makes them that much better. Really doesn't fill position of need and may cause major drama. After all, one of the girls parents was involed in the blow up at HSE w/ the Heat parents that led to the police being called. Also from what I hear, the 2 were tuned down by at at least one other team. Something to be said for not upsetting good group chemistry!!!!!!!!!!! Also, not sure Heat reach potential by staying in Indy and playing same teams over and over. Only a few that are competition!

Prdpop sounds like you know the Heat team well to know that these girls are not filling a position in need..... not sure if what you say is opinion or are you part of the Heat.
IMO the Heat now has two of the tougher pitchers in the state and added another strong pitcher. They are now deep with pitchers, heavy hitting lineup of batters and a solid defense which just became even more solid.

tryme I was just thinking that maybe these players haven't played before and the coaches are not as in tune to the game yet- instead of being ignorant. I would hope it isn't personal because that isn't what these boards are for. I do know that as a parent who has coached for 15 years I always knew when something was off with my team and would address it immediatly. Now I did have past parents of girls that we did not pick up for future years that do not think very highly of me but oh well, I'm looking out for my team. Maybe it is that kind of situation.

I don't think you are going to get an answer... it seems Chopper has posted and run. Can't we all just play ball and get along? :D

First of all I would like to clear up some miss information regarding the 10u Indiana Xtreme team. Yes, two of their top batters (and one being their top 2 pitchers) got released from the team due to coaching conflicts. If anyone says different... they are crazy. Prdpop... you are correct about one thing. One of the girl's parent did get into a conflict with a Heat parent but looks like everyone has moved on except for you. Also... neither girl got turned down from any other team, which in fact, after their release, they were offered spots on 2 different teams. You may be referring to the 10u Indiana Xtreme team itself. After the Xtreme Organization dissolved the 10u team, that 10u team was turned down by two other organizations when trying to join forces.

WOW! all of this for a 10U thread......I remember the Mrs. getting a shirt "save the drama for your mamma" at the start of 12U. That was about the time we moved to the outfield to watch DD's games..!

This post reminds of the telephone game we all played in kindergarten. The story has been passed through so many ears that the truth isn't even present at all here. It's really no one's business other than those involved in the situation, and the misinformation in this post is comical.

These girls are 10 years old, some even younger. They are all going to win some and lose some. The main goals for THEM should be to learn the game, get better, and have FUN doing it. Good luck to all teams.
