977,

I would have to believe the Gators 02' are definitely one of the most improved teams in IN. Especially with all of this youth on your team. That is not an easy transition from 8U to 10U for most girls. Looking forward to playing your team again to see all of their growth in person.

How were the Diamond Dawgs? Heard they have one of the best 10U pithcers around central IN area.

Good luck rest of the way.

PD POP,

I was asking a question to 977 regarding when they played DDawgs in Lafayette. Have you seen DD's #1 pitcher? I have been told she is very good this year.
We played her last year when she was a first year player and she was very good. As far as overall potential I would say she is as good as any pitcher we have faced this year or last year.

We have played the Gators 01', Magic, Mafia Black, Inferno, IN Bombers, Triple Crown Xtreme all multiple times with the exception being Gators 01'-just once.

Just curious if you have an opinion with any specifics?

thank you

Stimp,

She has very good speed. I did not see a lot out of her besides throwing hard.

StimpCity - Diamond Dawg pitcher was VERY fast. We've seen a lot of pitchers (even 12u picthers) this past fall & winter and in my opinion she throws as fast or faster than just about any 10u pitcher. As well as being fast she's a very imposing pitcher. She's very tall and a strong girl for her age. She's working on her change-up and didn't throw it much but she did throw it some. It's not very effective or accurate just yet. If you don't mind me asking I'm curious which team you are associated with?

Very well said Gator Coach. I would agree with you on the DD pitcher!

Stimp is with the Diamond Batz

Trying to figure out how everyone is talking about a pitcher from the Dawgs and from what I see the team
Isnt winning any tournaments with any of the teams in it that are mentioned in the top 5.
If she was one of the best pitchers in the state she would be almost unhittable. I know the top pitchers from mafia, edge and gators 01 are very good that's why they win tournaments. I can't say I have seen her pitch but we all know at 10u if you have a dominant pitcher you win ALOT of tournaments.

She is as good as those pitchers in my opinion just doesn't have the talent around her like the others do that you mentioned. They struggling scoring at times and don't have the fielding to make some plays in the field like most 10U teams. I think she could easily pitch for anyone of those teams mentioned. Again, just my opion-I also think she has a very high ceiling for future potential.
Also, winning tournaments takes team depth at every position. Some of the best players in 10U individually can be on some of the weaker overall teams.
My daughter plays for the Diamond Batz. We haven't seen her this year so I guess it isn't totally fair that I comment or compare her to the others pitchers at this point. Really just basing it off of what I saw a few times last year.

I appreciate your comments-just really liked her overall potential/capacity due to her strength and size.
