Premier Qualifier - Indy - Great teams coming

All good info, thanks. We are still 2 years away from going to exposure tournaments, this summer and next. We will hit 16U, I would guess, the fall of 2012. While we have all 98 birthdays, we are split in grade level (half 2016/half 2017 graduates). This information is very helpful as we try to figure out a good path for this group and a plan to get these girls to the next level when the time comes.

Does going to some of these showcases invitationals for the younger groups help in leu of USA/ASA? For example we are going to Sparks Invitational. Will that help us when it comes time to possibly go to Sparks Showcase? Lady Lasers have one as well that we are planning on going to next summer.

Does who you beat matter on these applications? Everyone knows who the Lasers Red 98 are and chances are they will be there as well. They just got back from California after having a good showing, they play at USA/ASA every year, they are the best team in the midwest at 12U (and probably up there for 14U)...now let's say we beat them (we didn't, lost 5-0). Does that help our case any in getting accepted? Lasers said they really enjoyed playing us (only close game they had)...asked us to come out and play sometime. As did Tennessee Elite that has aspirations of going to USA/ASA...or the Kenosha Cyclones who are going to ASA Nationals and Crown Point Bulldogs looking to go USA/ASA. Could these teams vouch for other teams??

On the flip side, the organization my DD started out with as an 8 yr old, had several players from their oldest team go on to play in college at places like Northern Illinois, Bethel, Trine, St. Josephs, Marian...and I don't think they went ANYWHERE as far as exposures and I know they went to USFA in PCB every year.

I know I am kinda all over the place here. Just trying to figure out how to do all of this for all of the girls on our team. If they want to play, I owe it to them to get them in the best position to do so.
