@killberbee, I wouldn't take your bet, and would actually bet against it. Having said that, there's a good chance she will be gone once this group goes through. My daughter has a few more years until she's in high school. If she is still coaching then, we will be looking for alternatives, or just not play school ball at all.

If the referendum out there doesn't pass there may not be athletics, who knows. From what I've seen, don't think there is any way "they" will get rid of her. She will have to go on her own and I don't see that coming anytime soon.

You never know. They won't make her go, however I think she's closer to hanging it up than what a lot of people think. Time will tell I guess......

Is it a she is that bad thing, or parents are pissed that they simply cant get by CG? Sometimes they sectionals can be brutal. Remember a few years ago when Pendleton and New Pal were both top 5 teams for years and ended up playing in sectionals. Heard the other day that Pendleton is also looking for a coach.

Was just on website and PH coaching position was posted on Jan. 4. I find that interesting since they have known all year Hall was gone.

I heard that they had a coach in place, but it fell thru. Pretty nice job to be open this time of year. Are there any other new coaches at bigger schools. As far as the FC job it sounds as if everyone has an issue with her. Have enough people went to the athletic dept, or do they just all complain to the side and wish something happen

Who ever comes through the PH Sectional should have a fairly easy trip to semi state. The HHC title will be up for grabs this year. With NP losing their guns, it will be interesting to see who steps up to fill in those spots. MV returns a lot of players including their pitcher. GC will make noise again this year. They lost 4 to graduation but with the MV transfer that sat out last year and a strong sophomore, they should be in the fight again this year.

I think that NP will still be solid if they can find a pitcher, dont think they will put up the runs they did in the past, lost 2 of the best hitters in the state in schroeder and marcum, phelan wasnt bad either. MV returns everyone, PH added 2 or 3 pretty good girls from Highland who decided to go there. Who is the strong sophomore that GC has, did someone move in there? I think the pitcher is a junior if that is who you were referring to

MV should be solid. Estes is capable of being a very good hitter. Houck hit VERY well most of the fall. Depends on how fast she gets out of Basketball mode and into Softball mode. Balbach will be better in the circle than she was last year. She needs to be tougher mentally, and she needs to gain some consistency.

Doesn't the GC pitcher, who transfered from MV, actually live in Eastern Hancock school district? Hopefully they've found a home, at this point, short of moving, they're running out of options.

houck and estes are both very solid hitters. The GC pitcher served her suspension last year. She had to sit out varsity games for a calender year from her last game at MV. She played in the sectional, regional, and semistate last year. She is good to go for the year.
