Updates from NSA Convention

I find it interesting to think that teams put "the shorty" behind the plate. I put one of my best players back there this past season in 10's and she was also one of the biggest kids on my team. She had never caught before, but after a couple of weeks really bought into the idea of how important it was to be back behind the plate, involved in every play. I really have no problem with the D3K in travel ball. These are supposed to be the better players at this level. Obviously, D3K has no place in rec ball and probably doesn't belong in "C" level ball. But with "A" and "B" you have to develop the catcher at some point. Just an opinion.
