Winter Sport Zone Tournaments

by TiredNbroke » Mon Jan 21, 2013 4:25 am

Thank you Gator02coach for the team run down. I didn't get to make it out this weekend and really wanted to see the teams. May be a bit early to say but, the level of pitching, hitting and fielding seems to be elevated this year, or at least of what I have seen. I think 10u this year is going to be quite entertaining.
Thanks again.

Sport Zone is a pretty fast track with very nice predictable bounces. End of July is a good ways off.

Since we are talking Sportszone, anyone know the teams that are signed up for the 10u Monday night league from mid February to Spring Break?

Teams should be listed on SportZone Indy website under leagues.

Some 16U teams who are practicing regularly are looking decent. Some 18U committed teams sleepwalking. And some other teams who aren't going to beat any of the aforementioned.

Is there a site I can go to to find out what teams are registered for the SZ games each weekend?

Being my kid is a senior this year, there have been a lot of "lasts" this year. Admittedly some have been sad. Yesterday she finished her last SZ tournament, I really can't say that I'll miss it, in fact I may be been bordering on euphoria as I left.

A few notes, I didn't make it SZ last winter, DD got hurt in BB and missed the winter. I like the changes at SZ. The new glass wall and doors are pretty cool. Now if SZ would just supply muzzles for the VB parents, so the SB parents could catch a few z's that would be great. VB in this state will be the ruination of all other sports!
