What 10U teams are going to stand out this year?

What Nationals are all of these 10U teams planning to go to??? How many will be fighting for ASA/USA bids? Who is planning on playing NSA A State??? With the Mafia outscoring everyone at HSE 95-8 they must be planning on ASA/USA, NSA A, or USFA A Nats.

USFA A or B? Just curious why so many team want to say they are top in the state, but almost all of them go to a "B" National. If your one of the top teams in the state, don't you want to face the best competition you can??????????

ASA/USA will bring some of the best teams in the country to Bloomington, IN. Wouldn't all of these top teams in the state want to fight for a birth to play here????????

When you are 16U and 18U ASA is THE organization. Why not get a taste of it now right in your own back yard??????????

Anyone other than Gators 01 going for these ASA/USA births????? Usually only 3 for the entire state.

I agree 100% with you prdpop, but most on this site think it is not that important at the 10u and 12u age levels, our NWI White Sox teams primary goal every year is to earn a bid to the ASA / USA Nationals at any age level, in 2011 our 10u team went down to Johnson City Tn., and our goal for our 2012 10u team is Bloomington Indiana, our 11u team would love to go to Moline Ill.and 14u to Sioux Falls SD.
With the 10u's being in Bloomington it could stir up more popularity in that age group across the state, I guess most 10u teams in Indiana feel they would be out matched at an ASA/USA National Tournament, most of the teams we seen in Johnson City were very good well coached teams!!!

...and when wondering why 10u parents don't post much anymore, refer to the stupid comment above.

I for one, love reading the 10u posts and not for the same reason as some. It takes me back to the days where you just go play ball and that's it. I once thought the older parents were the lucky ones but as I get older I realize that I was actually the lucky one and didn't even know it.

I agree battle the 10 u bashing is a joke. If they don't like what 10u parents post why do they spend so much time reading it. Anyone who doesn't have any thing better to do needs to get a life. Just had an "oh that's why" moment.

NSA announced where they were hosting their 2012 "B" tournament recently. It seemed rather early to me AND historically it's been East Peoria, IL one year, NW Indiana the next.

It was north Indy last year and it's close to there again this year - two years in a row in Indiana. That's not the norm.

Guess they want to maintain control and not let ASA get their foot in the door in Indiana as NSA in the younger ages rules the roost.

Last fall a parent from one of the more high profile 10u teams told me that one of the other parents had a bat roller and used it on the teams bats and that it really seemed to help now they have 10 year olds hitting over fence just seem to be crushing ball is there a way for umpire to tell a bat has been rolled?
