I would agree with that as well. Hoping the central Indiana teams get a chance to see what the rest of the state has to offer. If for nothing else but to give the young girls opportunities to make friends all over the state. That's truly what this game is about.
Heard from someone who was there with their 14U Daughter that the KY, Angola, and Laporte teams had mostly girls that move up to 12U in January. What do the girls gain from playing down this time of year? Pitchers have to move back and use the big ball and it is different for hitting and fielding too with the big ball. Makes no sense to me!

Those Spot Zone sweatshirts are pretty sweet! And as an added bonus, this time of year, they have them in sizes to fit everyone.

I look for either Crown Point Bulldogs or Indiana Heat to be the top 10U teams this year. NWI Sox I hear are very tough but have not seen them yeat. Indiana Heat and CP Bulldogs are walking through every tournament they are in and they are looking for competition. They did scrimmage each other I heard but Indiana Heat had two girls sick and did not pitch there ace pitcher. Sounds like their coach (Tim Jones) didn't want to show anything to them that early. Bulldog parent told me the score was 6-4. Extreme is very good but I have seen them give up some runs and have that "bad" inning in the field. Bulldogs and Heat play a lot of small ball.
Hey it's travel ball!! Things can change very quickly come spring and summer!! That's what makes it so fun. We see the Indiana Heat a lot. My goal is to get a victory against them, even if it's a pool play game. They are a well coached team with a great coaching staff (so don't take offense if any Indiana Heat coaches are reading this LOL!!!) Tim Jones has had that group of girls together for a very long time and has taught them well.
The Crown Point team is very similar in this manner. They are well coached and are a group of girls that have been together for quite a while.
