A Ball Players Prayer

I really don't understand why people get so offended whenever god is part of the equation.
I'm not catholic but I coached at a catholic school for several years. I participated in everything the team and school did because it was right. And thats the way it should be.

If you have a problem with people who live their faith, then don't particpate or don't read the post. But People have got to stop thinking they have the right to tell someone else that they have to do things their way.

We are so politically correct it's ridiculous.
Responsibility is the Price of Freedom

My daughter played on a certain National Championship early in the decade. Upon checking into our motel on road trips, the first thing I always did was check the Mass schedule at the local church. Generally, if the Mass times didn't interfere completely with a game or warm up time, we would attend the church service. Often this did make us 5-15 minutes late for warm up, which did adversely affect playing time or possibly being in the starting line up. I never minded the penalty, if there was one, because I was setting an example for my child and being a leader to my family in a positive manner. That was also an opportunity provided for me to lead other parents in the same way. FAITH BEFORE FASTPITCH!!!!!!!
