Frosty boy for a win? Ok, I'm in too! I will do pizza party for a win, and buy beer for a run rule. :D It's what all the athletes do in the township!

Not much activity at Frosty Boy last night from the Lutheran crowd.

Well played game for NP. A few costly errors and base runners left stranded deprived the Lutheran girls of their dairy treat.
Entertaining game for the most part, especially the first base coach fist pumping and high fiveing himself.

Funny I brought this up earlier in the year and the consensus was....if you can't run with the big dogs, stay on the porch...! I know alot of travel team coaches on this board have failed to call off the dogs when their team has been up by 12-14 runs in the past..! (padding stats, making a statemant...whatever..!) It really is funny how short alot of your memories are...! (and how you've all been called d*&%s for doing the same thing..!)..JG

14-2 is a helluva lot different than 32-2. Not even in the same ballpark. Never even heard of a travel score of 32-2, probably because it doesnt happen.

I've called off the dogs with a 10,11, whatever run lead, only to have the other coach go nuts and call it unsportsman like!!! After that, Game on!!! As mentioned, 12 or 13 is one thing! But 32 is just wrong! At any level! Hell, even my youngest dd's rec coach had kids leave early with an 8 run lead last night:)!!! Love the rec ball!

Jag,
I've been called a hell of alot worse than a D*&K for alot less than a run rule! I've been called worse for trying to help out a family!! If you coach your gonna get dumped on because the only people who know how to do anything are outside the fence!:)

In travel ball, using "runs earned" as a tie-breaker might lead to running up the score if a coach is worried about losing a good seeding by a tie-breaker rule. Just a thought.
