Anyone heard if partial entry is being returned for this event due to rain out?

Just a few additional comments to add!!!

Never ever ever ever ever host a tournament and have IHSAA only umpires.
I've been around the diamonds for some time now, and never have I've seen such crap officiating. These guys on the diamond were merely (near retirement)IHSAA and league ball umps that cant keep up with the pace of an "A" travel ball game.

Change locations if you consider doing next year. My pitchers hated throwing down hill off the "mound". Whats up with the Berber batters box too? Drag a rake accross the dirt every so often too!

Now the good...Games did run on time, hosts were friendly and concessions were good.

According to the rules of this event, there should be a refund depending on the number of games played! I believe if you only got in 2 it should be $100 anything above 3 and nothing back. that's what i heard anyway.

Craig - I will take all that into consideration. I apologize for issues or inconviences that this may have caused you or your team.

Thanks for attending.

Quick note: The umpire that threw you out is also an ASA umpire as well. He also has umpired in several sactioned and showcase tournaments that we have been part of. The uniform must have caused some confusion. Rest assured that we will fix ALL the problems that we had.

The umpire that threw me out is an ASA blue, no doubt. He's had to be certified through ASA to umpire at the Franklin Township league. He also does All-star tournaments.
My point being... There are many levels of officiating as the game itself. Most of your officials were outclassed by the level of play.

Good Luck

Is killerbee the legend (in his own mind) Craig Bell?

Hey Killerbee,
Was that you I saw in WalMart on a yellow cooler? You were moving kind of fast out the door, so I wasn't sure.

It was a good effort to provide a local venue for the kids to play in. Most tournaments will have a questionable umpire here and there. The weather related issues could have been addressed in a more timely manner...(and weather-line updated accordingly)......somebody must have had a major disagreement with the boys in blue..
