Who is the top 10U teams so far?

With all the talk about the 911 call in 10U I'm curious to see who is the team or teams to beat this season?

While it is way too early to tell for the 10's, I would say that the Indiana Heat, Indy Edge, Wabash Valley Sharks would be up there among a few others that are normally on top.

After watching a few fall tournaments in central Indiana the top 3 teams appear to be the Indiana Xtreme, the Heat and Hoosier Crush. The Indy Shock are up there, but I've heard there are girls on that team that have to move up to 12u.

Heat return most from last year, Xtreme seems to be pretty good too. Is Edge playing before spring? How bout Indy Diamond Chix 10U? I saw Indiana Gators 2001 finished 3rd @ Monster Mash, is there a 2000? Or just a really young team?

The Chix don't have a 10 or 12u team. The Edge scrimmaged at Cedar Grove and played in an all-star tournament this fall. There's only one 10u Gators team.

My apologies on the Edge. Got that info 2nd hand. He was obviously mistaken. He said they were in Champ. game with Heat at HSE. But now I think it was the Xtreme? Is that correct? How about Crown Point? Has anyone seen them play yet? Yes, the Gators team is a 2001 team and that is the only 10u team they are fielding as of now.

Anyone have the order of finish at the Monster Mash? I heard Xtreme got 1st and Gators 3rd. I would assume Heat was 2nd.

The Heat didn't play at Monster Mash. Xtreme got first, Crush 2nd.

From what I have seen the Xtreme has great pitching strong bats and a defense that keeps getting better. The Crush has great defense and bats but there pitcher got tired in the championship game. But still one of the top pitchers in 10U.. The Heat was a good team they backed out of the monster mash at the last minute for reasons I don't know. The Edge is good but they are playing B instead of A.
This seems to be the top teams in 10U, but as we all know it is 10U anyone can get hot and win a game. That's why its so fun.

Thanks Gunner. Agreed. You just never know what will happen in 10's. Alot of fun to watch these girls. I still think some of the teams outside Indy area will have a say so this year too. Should be another fun year in 10's.
