18u Indy Crush (Walker) will be solid as well.

Don't know enough about Akadema to comment so I will leave them out. It is my opinion that the Indiana Magic Gold(Clay) and Dreams Gold(Bell) both play at a completely different level than the teams named so far in this thread as "top" 18U teams. Most don't get to see them in local tournaments.

The Invaders placed 4th in State last year and lost noone. They picked up Alicia Brewer from IUPUI and Lauren Hatfield from USI to add to this team. They will be tough. Greg Franklin is coaching them. He has coached the Magic when they were solid. Look at last years results with Akadema, Magic etc. Both Dream teams will be Gold as is Akadema I believe. I say Shockwave will be the best but only time will tell. There is much talent around. I just have a daughter on the Invaders which is why I know that they have the 4 college girls. The wizards have Brooks Harmening on the mound and plenty of talent.

I thought the score was worse than that. Sure felt like it. But I still enjoyed the game going against some really good pitching. Troy's team is really, really good. Harker is a really good player, I liked watching her play, my type of player. Troy has really good pitching, and they hit the crap out of the ball in that game, and good defense. It happens, I am sure I have gotten beat worse in the past. But as someone said a couple years ago Looking In...-"Its Indoors".

But being a simpleton as myself, I have enough to worry about than what Bell, Troy, Brad, Mark or anyone else is doing. They are much better coaches anyway.

Hopefully I can have an opportunity to coach against these guys in the future. But I am very proud of our team, I have outstanding people surrounding me, with great families. That is what is fun to me. Candrea ain't knocking down my door for advice.

So Looking In, you are obviously not a fan. But dont knock the players, (they are only as good as the coach anyway), so call me up and let me know how I can be a better coach.

Stratos,
Never said a thing about the girls or the coach! I just stated a score i heard. I also thought it was funny to say Akedema was the cream of 18U Gold in Indy. There are maybe 2 real gold teams in the state. I think it's funny how so many people get so serious on here! Everybody knows(or should) what you have done for the game in the last 4-5 years in Indy. As far as a fan, i know girls on your team and the others you mentioned.I'm a fan of all of them and look forward to following them in college, as i'm doing with my DD this spring! We are done with the summer stuff! But, good luck in the future! don't worry about some butt head with time on his hand sitting at work!!

Looking in, no one said anything about G O L D.

I stated:
The cream of the 18U's would probably be Akadema, Dreams (Bell), Dreams (Lewis), Magic (? I can't keep them straight).

And I assure you, I'm the last person that would take anything serious ;)

Slap,
I stand corrected! Although, with posted schedules and hear-say. 18U A teams will not see Bell, playing all gold. Lewis is playing exposure only(hearsay) and Akedema has gold in the name and on the schedule. If i understand correctly, you cannot play "A" and "Gold" at the same time. You have to pick one! Anyway, thanks for taking this serious ;)
