Snoop, you sound miserable. I'll be sure to tell the Lutheran coaches to add you to their recruiting list. I get a new car with one more referral :)

I would still would like coaches such as Lewis, Bell, Mathews, knox, Clay and whoever else act as mentors for these young good coaches coming up, regardless if the are associated with the Dreams, Gators, Magic, etc. There are some really good young coaches such Montgomery, Green, and many others that I dont know that could really benefit from the experience these coaches have in regardes to the recruiting process. Instead, it usually dies when the coaches retire, or it is a closely guarded secret that is used as a recruiting tool for their own teams.

This is a really good point. One that I have been barking about in my area for a couple years. Infact just yesterday I asked a coach if he knew anything about Kobata...yes he did, has videos. Asked if he had any other goodies he would like to share? NO!! I guess the idea of rising tide raises all ships has sailed out to sea in this instance. WOULD IT BE POSSIBLE TO HAVE A COACHES CLINIC IN INDIANA?I would love to go to a quality event, where are they? I am new to coaching fastpitch. I have only coached 3 years, and it seems there are a lot of tight lips. I love the game. I would have a hard time at this point if 1 of my 2 girls chose not to play. I enjoy coaching. My 12u has had to work her tail off and it has made me better for my youngest(10u). Is there an orginizational mentorship within the bigger clubs? Tapes, videos, youtube...all great tools but nothing near a hands on mentor.
