It's the Cardinal, singular, like in one team, one bird. "Go Card" or "The Farm".

Not being nasty, just helping if any DD's are, or will be, writing Coach Rittman.

It's the Cardinal as in the color. Has nothing to do with the bird...

My point was singular and it makes sense to me that way. ;)

The article link is has timed out.

Where does/did this young lady play travel ball? Does anyone have details on what she did during spring? Did she have an opportunity to play elsewhere in the spring or just prep on her own?

I think many girls would be interested in alternatives to HS ball.

I think she plays for Southern Force currently.

Correct Slapperdad.

She started with the Shockwaves, then played for the Southern Force from 14u to current.

Did alot of work on her own in the spring plus some events in Missouri as a pick up player since they play their high school ball in the fall after the travel season is over.

Wouldn't shock me to see a team or two put together next spring for kids as an option to not play high school ball and travel to Missouri a couple times a month to play..... Especially with the pay to participate programs due to lack of funding.

There was a team a few years back that played a couple times a month in Missouri and if memory serves me correctly they also went to Georgia to play on a weekend and it was comprised of kids that didn't play high school ball. They practiced a couple times a week plus worked on their own and a few tournaments to prepare for the summer season.
