What teams look good early and which are rebuilding?

by amidreaming » Mon Apr 05, 2010 8:25 pm

Well Spring Break is over. Which teams look like they are still on break? Who looks good.

How does BD, center Grove, Avon, South Putnam, look? Anyone know anything? Does TJ look ok in North Putnam?

I seen Greenwood against Indian Creek. They showed several pitchers and they can hit.

I am told Decatur lost 4 or 5 kids but early line-ups are not looking very good. Wonder if the new coach is experimenting? Lost 11-1 against Ben Davis and won 9-6 against Pike? BD that good? Pike that good? Who is the new coach? Where has he coached before?

Center Grove? They seemed to start off just like they have in years past. People thought pitching might be an issue, but that don't seem to be the case.

Roncalli looked like they got off to a good start with Ritter.

Anyone with info, please respond.

Amidreaming, you may still be dreaming but:

The DCHS coach is a She not a he. She may be looking and experimenting, the jury is still out on that one but they won against a rebuilding Franklin Community 10-0 after 5 innings. We will see them again tomorrow at there place so we will see. Do not know about anyone else just wanted to correct you on the gender of the coach so you wouldn't embarass yourself.

I know most of you dont give much notice to the schools up north of indym but 3a Balckford, 3a Misssinewa, 2a Madison Grant all look good. Blackford went 3-o in Tennesee on spring break with a freshman pitcher(senior out with tender knee)

Floyd Central looked good in theTerre Haute tourney. Good bats, good pitching, and very quick on the bases.
Mt. Vernon starting out strong, having not lost a game yet. The real test will be against HSE Friday night.
Ben Davis beating Center Grove shows they may have a good run this year.
Greenfield has hot bats right now. Will have to hold judgement on them for a while.

I don't know what class they're in, but Boonville, probably 3??? is the best team I've seen so far. They hit, solid pitching, I didn't see their #1, and they play D. Very quick, very athletic.

1.Always look cool
2.Never get lost
3.If you get lost, look cool
