Since it has been pointed out that this IS a hitting thread, how would I know, my DD doesn't hit the ball out of the infield.

It is even worse. You are your own cheerleader.
Secondly, I want you to produce slow motion video with tangent lines, showing me that a rise ball actually jumps. I have seen a lot of slow motion video of the best, and have yet to see one that makes a jump. But I want you to prove to me that it does. I want to see the actual plane change at 35 to 40ft after the pitch is delivered. Even include mens fastpitch if you wish. I would also like for you to show me a video of you throwing a rise ball that jumps. As you stated earlier, you have be able to throw it to teach it. I dont want any of this crap - "see it jump, or see it rise". I want a slow motion video of it.

Siddfinch, you are right I am my own cheerleader.

How do I know a rise ball jumps? Because I have coached some of the best rise ball pitchers in the State including the best of all time Darcy Wood who played for ISU. Her rise actually curved up.

Well I am 70 now but can still throw a little. I can still throw the movement pitches even though I don't have the speed anymore. My pitches have the jump or sudden movement that I teach. It just depends on how I feel on any given day.

If my health holds out then I will coach as long as I am able.

Now Now Slapperdad, you are being modest. You know very well that your DD can knock the c@#p out of the ball.
