To The Thief Who Stole Our Pitching Machine

by FC2021 » Sun Dec 29, 2013 10:45 pm

Yes, I’m talking to you. You didn’t steal from me nor did you steal from the Firecrackers, you stole from young girls that have worked very hard and fundraised to be able to purchase that Jugs pitching machine.

We have taken pride to make our field a home for our girls. From seeding the outfield, making warning tracks, painting dugouts, renovating the infield, adding an extra batting cage, installing lights and bringing in equipment to make our group of teams self sufficient.

You reap what you sow, no good can come out from your theft. Our girls will be fine, we will have another machine by weeks end. But I have a question for you, do you have no conscience?

For you to go on private property, break in to a locked container, during the holidays, on church grounds, to steal from little girls, do you sleep at night?

Karma will catch up with you and it won’t be pretty.

Hey Coach,

Is there a Play it Again Sports in your area?
Call them all and let them know.

Check Craigslist and ebay.

Went through this a couple years ago. I called every Play it Again in So Cal. with a description of my DD bag and it's contents. A week went by and the store in Newport Beach called me and said they had my DD's bag and the guy who was trying to sell it. Got her bag back and nailed the guy who stole it. Remember the Softball Soldiers?
DANGGGGGGG.

There was a rash of this going on back in 2003-04 timeframe. Lots of schools and rec leagues got broken into and lost alot of sports equipment. The ring responsible for the thefts did get caught after a machine stolen from a rec league was sold via ebay to a coach of HS local to that rec league. There was a person in Long Beach area breaking in and stealing stuff all around So Cal, then selling it to a Play It Again Sports in Orange, who then sold it on ebay and in the store in Orange. Both of these guys got busted and were prosecuted, and both plead guilty. The police raided a storage facility owned by one of these guys and found over 25 stolen machines in it, including a Home Plate machine stolen from UCLA.

I hope the same fate awaits the thief that stole your machine. :D
