LAS VEGAS ST PADDY DAY BLAST 14U - THANK YOU'S

Let me start by saying i am the Dad of the catcher for So Cal Athletics - Mercado. Saturday during our game with Lv Envy there was a extremely scary moment for Me and my Family, as my DD was knocked out in a collision going for a pop up, during the collision she was bent backward at the waist and again at the neck during the remainder of the impact of herself and the other player. Once on the ground she showed no movement for what seemed like forever !!!!. By the time i got around the fences and on the field she had regained consciousness but was not responding to questions and was with a blank stare. Finally she snapped out of it and then immediately felt sharp pain at her thumb. We removed her from the field and dugout as quick as we could for medical attention....

Thats where the THANKS YOU'S start

I Want to express my family's heartfelt THANK YOU to the parents from Lv Envy that showed their extra concern for my DD and guided us to the Hospital in the area. THANK YOU AGAIN !!!

I also want to thank some of the parents from San Diego Renegades,Oregon Panthers,USA Athletics-Austin,Sorcerer and the Utah Lady Pirates..... if i'm forgeting anyone, i am sorry but you know who you are.....Your comments to Me or My Family about my DD's play prior to the accident and/or the injury itself were taken in with humble pride....

Update for those that did ask and may read this..... Xrays for the thumb were NEGATIVE and the CT Scan was also NEGATIVE.... Just a sprained thumb and will back to normal in a few weeks... which is AWESOME news as her season will continue....

P.S. SHE HELD ON TO THE BALL WHEN SHE BLACKED OUT... GOT THE OUT !!!!!
