Go to the Board Index, scroll down to announcements, click on tryouts then CA and start hunting. A couple of suggestions...at this level you will find allot of teams that are being coached by people with daughters on the team. You will also find people that bring entire rec all-star teams up to travel. It is important for you to find out 1) how many players are they looking for? 2) If the coach(s) have daughter(s) on the team what position(s) do they play? If possible you want to steer away from teams where the coaches kid(s) share your kids' position(s). I have also observed that when most of the girls (the "core") are from the same area or school that these teams tend to be "cliquish" so unless your kid is from the same area it can be hard for her to fit in. Keep in mind that you are about to embark on a journey.

This journey might be short or it might be long but first and foremost it is important to keep in mind that this is for her and not for you. There WILL be bumps in the road and if you put her needs first you will give yourself the best shot at having a long journey. If not, this could be a short journey. Good luck.
