99Diamonds win the 12A Gold Bracket Triple Crown World Series

Going 5 1/2 games on Saturday, winning in ITB vs. a strong Team Arizona- Team
then having to beat Nevada State Champs (Las Vegas Blast) twice in hot, then cold and windy, then rain and lightning weather. The girls showed alot of heart going 12-1.

Special thanks to:
1. TCS for putting on a great tournament, great umpires, and the fields were always prepped above standards.
2. All the coaches that sent a shout out congratulating the team.
3. LV Blast for showing lots of class both during and after the game. Great sportsmanship.

Joe, congratulations on your girls performance. They earned it. Your infield was lights out, SS was incredible and your Pitcher a work horse. Great timely hitting as well.

We are very proud of our girls as well on a very strong season.

We would also like to thank Triple Crown for their hospitality.

Congratulations to Team AZ, USA Athletics, Cal Cruisers and SD Legacy for their play as well.

Special shout out to LV Rage Nate for a nice run in the Gold Bracket and the Vegas Sox for playing hard and well despite injuries to key players. Also, nice to see 2000 teams SoCal Pumas and AA - Orrantia in gold bracket. Those teams should be tough next spring.

Should never hit "submit" without proof reading! I should have also mentioned Power Surge 2000 in congratulating the 00 teams for their performance. They too will be very tough next spring and represented very well.

Thanks Will, It was a great tournament and we were able to play some great So Cal teams that we normally would not have the honor of playing. I watched both Diamonds, LV Blast games and came away very very impressed with both teams. Big shout out to the pitcher for the Diamonds what a gutsy performance all day Saturday! I also want to point out how well the Vegas teams did not just in the tournament but all year. Say what you want about the Girl Sox finish in the world series but all year that team has been lights out! As Will said without some key injuries that team goes deep into the World Series.
That Blast team is one of the best Vegas teams I have seen in years! What a solid well rounded team.
In closing congrats to the Diamonds, their parents and coaching staff! Your kids play with heart and a grittyness that really shows how the game should be played.
