Do you mean teams that practice near HB? Most of the So Cal travel ball teams are made up of players from throughout So Cal or even Central Californial, not just one or two cities. Also, are you looking towards fall tryouts or are you ready to make the move now?

At the bottom of the front page of Heybucket there is a section for tryouts, and it is separated by state.
A quick look shows HB Breeze 12U is looking for players.
Right now many teams that are looking for players want a quick fix, or an extra body to travel during the summer, so not sure if that's what you are looking for.
Around early to mid August, most teams will start posting for tryouts.

There are alot of teams in your area, so you should have a wide variety to look at for tryouts.
You should be able to find a team within a 20 mile radius of your area.

A few things to keep in mind:
1) You can do all the homework you want, but unless you have some magical travel ball advisor, starting in travel is kind of a school of hard knocks. You learn as you go.
2) Try to trust your instincts when your kid is trying out for a team. You will get all kinds of advice, but you just have to do your best, trust your instincts and learn from your mistakes.
3) Most teams through 14's are coached by people who have daughters on their team. Doesn't have to be a deal breaker, so again, try to learn as you go.
4) If you make the wrong choice, the times to evaluate your kid's situation and make decisions on whether to stay with a team or look for a new team are after the fall season and after the summer season. Unless there are circumstances that you have to get away from, stick with a team through the end of these seasons before making a move.
5) Stay out of parental drama and try to enjoy watching your kid compete. This outlook will help you when your kid gets to high school as well.
6) Don't pay attention to those that will look down on you if you are coming from rec ball. Everybody started there, and there is no shame in that. Those are not the people you want to impress anyways.

usa athletics ramos is a 10u team and they practice in HB. are you looking for a 10u team? or a 12u team. like was said before. in aug, sep is when you see the teams starting up and getting started.
