If you have ever known a person who coached little girls, then older girls with years and years of dedication, then Larry was our version of that person. Always fixing up the fields early in the morning after rainy nights just to get another set of games in for his girls. Always had new gadgets and techniques for his players. Could bunt you to death just for a run. I seen some miraculous come back games orchestrated by his never say never attitude. He will be missed. I am happy to say that i stood by him and helped him when i could. After years of coaching, i asked him as a rookie coach on opening day, " Do you think we could put Stacey at first base, shes tall and seems like she can handle it. " He said go for it... we lost that game and my first base idea was a disaster. I told him sorry for my great idea, he said ' So what, we still have 15 more" RIP COACH.
