This happens all the time! Some kids have huge talent but are not financially able to pay so the team covers it. Sometimes even, the manager covers the cost. I've have personally done this no fewer than 6 times in my coaching career. Oh, and it's not your business. Your business should be your daughter and not another kid. If you don't like it, leave...It's pretty simple...Why look for drama?

I'm not exactly sure what your point is with this post. I sense that you are looking to bash someone from my "Bat-senses" and "Spidey-power"...

JMHO, as with any issue with any travel ball team or anything in life...If you don't like something then just leave...Why bring so much hate in this world??? It's all love and strawberries! :)

1. Hope this girl makes your team better.

2. DO NOT pit player against player.

3. If items 1 and 2 above are things they cant do, then leave.

BTW, is this firsthand info (coach or the new family) or the typical rumor from a reliable source BS?

That was my initial reaction to the post - everybody is probably happy except the one(s) losing playing time.

This may be the main reason why some coaches don't want to open their books, rather than trying to hide where the money went. Unnecessary problems occur when people find out someone else is paying less than them, just like when an employee finds out a coworker is making more.

The most interesting thing I took out of this entire string of posts is that Ray-Ray's dad is a coach.

I have seen it a time or two... If the Manager wants to cover it from his pocketbook, not a problem.
If it's snuck in, and it equals every parent unknowingly covering her costs? Man.. I dunno, she better be a fricking World-beater.. If Mom or Dad drops Miss Suzie free-ride off in a late model BMW or Mercedes? Get a rope!
