Surf City Classic

[dfitz01]

Anyone know if this tournament is still on or is it rained out. Any information would be great

[HIT & RUN]

It will be posted on the Surf City website at 12 noon today...

Just posted on the website;

We are going to have to cancel the tournament.
The HB Fields will not be usable on Sunday and we have no alternative site.

We are going to try to schedule some 12U games at FV High School on Saturday.

I guess they dont want Lady Lasers of Ohio (who are probably already at the airport or on the plane flying to California) making the trip for nothing. Maybe Mark Campbell can convince them to play in the Victory friendly in Westminster on Sunday instead.

Ok..... Let me get this straight.
1. FV High School fields are ok for games on Saturday (Only????????)
2. HB fields wont be "Usable" on sunday
3. They have no alternate sites
2 of the most powerful guys in SoCal Fastpitch softball cant get fields for Saturday or Sunday..... WOW..... Is it because everyone else around them is hosting??
