Power Line is pleased to announce the hiring of University of San Diego graduate Danielle Duhart. Danielle joins Power Line’s interest of working with those athletes aspiring to play at higher levels. Through years of experience and the opportunity to work with some of the top left-handed hitting, slapping, and defensive coaches in Southern California, Danielle has learned the proper mechanics, situational awareness, and mental approach necessary for exceptional performance. Danielle is now eager to share this knowledge in mentoring young athletes.
In the 2010 season as a senior outfielder, Danielle Duhart started all 47 games posting career-highs in hits, runs, and doubles while matching her personal-bests in RBI and stolen bases. This left fielder recorded two six-game hitting streaks, both during conference play. She also recorded a season-high three hits on two different occasions, the first being against Northern Illinois on March 10th and the other on March 17th versus North Dakota. Over four years at USD as a starting outfielder and left-handed slap hitter, Duhart played in 155 games, collecting 94 hits in 384 at-bats (.245), scoring 45 runs and driving in 16.
Duhart played for William S. Hart High School as a middle infielder and right-hand hitter, and she was named First Team All-League and Most Improved as an underclassman. Duhart was given the Captain’s Award her junior and senior year and received All-Tournament honors. Duhart helped lead her team to CIF Division I playoffs all four years.
Duhart also played travel ball for Stealth 18U Gold coached by Don Harris, SCV Pride 18U coached by Steve Calendo, and played as a pick-up for 16U OC Batbusters coached by Doug Meyers for summer 2005 Nationals.
