Two other pollsters said Madness is mostly 98 and moving up. They will be discarded and removed. IE Elite was removed from the poll prior as they are now calling themselves IE Elite 98 and they were 1/2 98 and 1/2 99. Madness wasn't getting a ton of points anyways and will not effect the overall poll.

Couple of other updates:

Getting positive chatter about a new 10U/99 team called Murrietta Impact. They will be a write-in and eligible to be ranked on the next poll.

OC Force was confirmed a rec team and only played in the fall. I don't believe they got many if any votes.

By far Firecrackers 99 are the best team in the 10u. Yes, they are all 10 yrs old. Their coaching staff is very solid!! Very structured scripted practices, with little or no down time. They make every minute count!! They also coach without yelling or screaming. Very calm demeanor.... Most important they teach the fundamentals of the game making ALL the girls feel that their contribution to the team matters!! No player left out!! 38-0 spring ball speaks for itself.

I agree firecracrackers are top team with amazing coaching. But it does help when you get players from 3 of the top 10u teams from last year. Crunch, franchise and AA. Hard not to be the top team. Those girls were well coached Going into this season. They will be hard to beat.

Second not sure how Murrieta impact is getting lots of talk they only played in 1 friendly and really didn't do a whole lot. Must be the parents talking.

Just goes to show that the best coaches are the best recruiters...

They don't have to recruit....

Smart parents know where the good coaches are and given the chance(new team...tryouts) will be the first to show up...

Here's a thought... How about the fact that the "Q" father/son tandem is just a class act. Played against them last year and always had much respect for them. Not big screamers/yellers, always encouraging.
