I am a true believer in firm coaching, a guy who allows no grab a**ing, a guy who can truly teach the game, a guy who holds himself and his players up to a high standard of sportsmanship and level of play, and a guy who knows how to correct mistakes in a positive professional way
from RBI

What about the women coaches!!!! :) :)

He doesn't think the women coaches should be allowed to play grabass either.

And for a more thorough discussion of women coaches and grabass, please refer to the "Hair Bows" thread!
Don't worry about tomorrow. You did that yesterday.

Excellent posts! I think we all (coaches and parents alike) can take a step back and re-adjust our priorities as mentors, facilitators and role models. If we're asking the players (and parents) to adjust, we can too! Points taken ...

Stan, I don't know what crawled up whoever posted this thread (why even acknowledge them) and I don't know what he is looking for about last weekend. But my hat goes off to you for the way you have dealt with the postings. Sounds like if you use the same composure on the field all will be good.

Whatever went on last weekend learn from it and keep moving along. It takes a lot to start a program and keep it going, and you are half way there. From here on out, just look out for what is best for your players, but keep in mind that the "cts stan" bloggers of the world are watching you.

Lastly IMO, the best way for you to show your change of heart would be for you to put together a team for the last spot in the American Pastime12u One-pitch tournament

I must concur. A refreshing change from the hyper-defensive sniveling that seems to follow critical commentary like night follows day.
