Punishers '98 break-up

by ontheblack » Sat Sep 03, 2011 10:01 am

I know a more than a few coaches who would have either issued a gag order on 1234, or sent her packing.

1234 - the reason the 12u smack ends at 12u is because the game changes. Winning Nats isnt the only goal. You may want to consider dialing it back a bit. It isnt wise to bet that your DD's current team will always be the team that she is on. When that happens, your reputation may limit her opportunities.

We aren't going anywhere PAL!!! Youngest DD is on his new 12U team!!! :o
So stick that in your pipe and smoke it (or wherever else that might satisfy you!!!) backoffthebucket!!! :D

Saturday morning with the kids must have put you in sandbox mode. Very childish response, I had expected a little more retrospective thought from you. Thanks for the RED FLAG warning about where your kids are playing, makes me think twice if this is the standard I want set for my DD's. I will say this about my last post...when I said that I was surprised that JM hadn't pulled the plug on you...it was about YOU...not your kids. JM and any CA team that is blessed with one of your kids would be much better represented if you weren't doing the posting. Feel free to head back to the sandbox or play ground and try and pick up some tips on how to behave like an adult in public....certainly can't hurt!

Well stated....I hope she takes the advice!

(Not quite sure what your point was...Obviously a team can be beat at anytime, AP beat Breakers at States. So, AP made a very long trip for 2 and a barbecue).
Hey.... I thought this whole thread was about Punishers?? Not sure how the AP girls got brougt into it?? Lets clairify though... It was 4 and BBQ (dont forget the pool play games. It wasnt BBQ either, it was Golden Coral!!! That place was bomb..
Not sure where the girls went after the first pool play win?? I have my ideas but unlike other parents I will not publicly trash the girls. They know what happened and it will only make them hungrier for next season....So, I dont regrete the long trip, there were how many teams across the country that wanted to play on that (hot and nasty) soil!!
Finally, Juice... help me out. How does Johnny tolerate all the talk, (inside and outside) info being put out by peg??? There is no way he reads this crap or she would be put in time-out!! Good luck to all... see you up in 14's

You brought some good and funny comments to many discussions 1234, but I would have to agree with the moral majority that it's time to tone it back and just breather deeply for awhile. It is one thing to support your team and have a little fun, but the point of no return has been reached. It is one thing to support your team, it's quite another to attack any other contributor with an adverse view or to trash talk other teams or to add negative comments about individual 12 and 13 year old players. The CA organization is a highly respected group and needs to step in and issue a gag order.

Friendlies haven't even started yet and it's another 11 months to Premier or Nationals. Support your DD, and HER team, but do so as a parent, not her agent or the team spokesperson. Enjoy this time for what most of us recognize it to be, a wonderful opportunity to watch our DD's play ball, have fun and potentially develop and mature into a college softball recruit.

I wish you well 1234. Every once in a while we all just need a little perspective. Hopefully this thread has provided some for you.

Wow.. We are a great group of people helping out 1234 like that.

I am sure she will be a better person now because of the insight provided on this public forum.
