Cif playoffs..UPDATES
I would not be to concerned about teams loading up for 18U - The stud college players are coming back and playing in the Womans majors events now. I saw a Hurricanes team that will be playing this summer that is just loaded ( I will be catching some of those games for sure ). 18U will remain to be what it is

Hurricanes will definitely be loaded. Unbelievable talent on that team
Langenfeld/Spigner/Chavanne/Fischer/Mejia/Kamekona/Bush/Bates/Bruder/Shults/Schutte/
Macon/Rich - possibly Ricketts/Gammel/ and others. Hurricanes play their first game on June 12 in Santa Fe Springs against the Australian National Team at, I believe, 9:00AM. Unfortunately, they will not have everybody on board yet but will still be very, very good.
When they won last year at 23U over the Virginia Legends (11-2 in the final) who had Nemitz, and Hamilton throwing for them with Bush, Dorian Shaw, Kristen Priebe, Rachel Mitchell and other All Americans, the Legends coach said that he felt that only Abbott or Osterman would be able to possibly beat them and that they could beat most National teams. Love watching these girls continue to play during the summer. On the Hurricanes, they are all about having fun - - -and winning

Nice job by Whitney Jones. I do have to say that I was totally amazed today to see several players doing soft front toss before the game in warmups with all the hoopla going on over it. As stupid as the rule is, how, as a coach, can you let your players do that knowing that you could possibly have to forfeit the game. Why would you not make sure all your players know the rules
CIF needs to either change the rule or enforce the rule! You can't pick and choose what rules you are going to abide to and what rules you are going to overlook
