I do remember a few months back that RR Gold came down to So Cal and performed well, and then did a bit of chest pounding. There was a lot of talk how this team was really going to prove something at nationals. Did they qualify for Nationals? Is that the team that is currently playing at TCS World series? Just curious.

I think they got worked in pool play when they came to So Cal, don't know how they finished...

I do remember that RR Gold team blowing this site up claiming they were the "real deal"...haven't really heard from them since their trip to the OCBB. Guess they didn't do so well....otherwise we'd still be hearing them pounding on them chests.

Nice first post, you must be an EX 10U RR GOLD parent that left the team. After losing 5 girls ( including there starting pitcher )they still were able to go to Utah and take 3rd. And I heard the girls and parents had a blast the whole time there.

The RR Gold team represented itself very well last week and were a dropped third strike from being in the final. Congratulations to Andersen for winning the TCS championship. Park City was a great venue and would certainly recommend the TCS World Series tournament to any team next year. Our girls and parents had a great time at the tourney…SoCal Bombers 10U

All teams representing So Cal are going to be strong. Haven't heard anything about other states.
What do you know?

well in TX, (IMO), Cobras, Bombers, Phantomz should represent well.
cobras solid from top to bottom with good pitching.
bombers great defense and dominate pitching.
phantomz dominate pitcher with good hitting

should be interesting since teams do not know each other. (except from their own states)

Pool k looks like a tough one! OC Batbusters, Knox White Lightning, Worth Cobras... All 3 stand a good chance of winning the whole thing.
For you folks not familiar with the teams, the Humble Cobras vs Chatt Cyclones (formerly frost falcons) will be another great game to watch in the first round. The cyclones have a kid throwing HEAT.

I think pool J is a tough one too with USA Athletics, Phantomz, and GA Impact 99.

Some other stats:
Eight States (8) represented at 10U nationals this year.
More GA Teams than CA teams ! Could be their year !!!

SoCal10UDude - will you change your screen name to SoCal12UDude
after Nationals? Can we expect the same level of commitment from
you on HeyBucket next year? Great job all year long! :D
