Valencia strikes again!!!

Nzane,

Just so you know Canyon offered to start up that class, and they were told they could not. I like the kid but this is just crap, to watch CC, GV, West Ranch and Saugus get getting beat up year after year. CC had a good team coming back. If the kid wants to transfer that's ok, but she needs to play at the JV level for a year. Price you pay for transferring.
I agree with Ratzdad11 there needs to be sometype of penalty when you leave a school. It's not CC fault they are not allowed to carry the class.

Ok, you think there should be some kind of penalty. But, there isn't. So, its the girls fault? I've learned not to get into anything controversial on these forums anymore, but this really bugs me. Its not like they used a fake address. This transfer was approved by the school board, right? There is no reason to even try and drag this girls name thru the mud. Again, she is a great kid, and doesn't deserve this just because of a transfer.

Why is this an issue all of a sudden with certain people? Why has nobody complained when Hart's D-1 senior pitcher transfered from GV, the LF bypassed on CC, Saugus's SS should be at Canyon and so on? This seems like a personal issue, not a rule issue. I personally know that one of the two schools that are losing one of these players was trying to "recruit" one of these players right up to the Hart Tourney! Is this a matter of sour grapes?

I agree with the name thing, I have not used her name at all. My DD is taking a class at COC this summer because CC doesn't offer the class. She will miss 5 weeks of travel ball because of the class. She would never think of leaving her friends or the school and I wouldn't make her. She could have worked it out summer school, night school, etc. This was the easy way for her to transfer so that it doesn't interfere with her TB tourneys. She also told me that the girl really didn't want to leave her parents were making her.

Next on why it's a big deal now CC has always been the doormat of softball and Valencia has always been good so when CC finally has a chance to put a great team on the field, one of the players and a big part the team leave. And 90% of the Santa Clarita Valley really knows it was for softball not the class. And they need a catcher. We heard this talk early in the season that Valencia was trying to get her to transfer.

And you right about the other girl, Funny thing is the two girls are best friends and wanted to play together the one girl was going to come to CC, that was her choice CC was not recruiting. Now both girls are going to Valencia.

i think its finally boiling over. Alot of the shakeup of So Cal Fury (note balls of fury), Smashers(shults) & krushers(valencia crew minus Nicole Johnson) are the core root to this. if you look closely enough you wont see double. hehehe.. alot of these kids are graduating and finishing up.. now its just the nextgen of kids but the parents really arent to keen to the past so its just bubbling up. Thats my take? Could be off...
The spirit, the will to win, and the will to excel are the things that endure.
These qualities are so much more important than the events that occur.

If you call working out for the coach, and information on eligibility from the A.D not recruiting before the Hart Tourney, than OK.

Like many other class's offered just a waste of $$$$$. And this kind of spending has caught up with all of uss in CA.

Let's see. 4 million dollars for the police for Michael Jackson's funeral. Oh yea, $48,000+ for the lunches for the policemen that day. Shall I go on? LOL!! Don't think a few classes are hurting us quite that bad...lol

I know the two are friends, but had no plans together. The dads are really good friends.
