Nice try dadof4rbbm!
Bottom line is most of the lower level teams(10's thur. 14's) that travel to so Cal do so to compete vs. the big girls? traveling and spending that kind of money to play teams they see all the time is just not right no matter what you believe. Does not matter for the showcase teams because they go to be seen by colleges.

I am sure that the schedule had something to do with the directors decision, but the teams should have had an option? maybe they did and they chose the later games? I don't know.

But again your response shows your soCal elitists position on us lowly norcal teams.By the way some of the negative responses were from socal parents.

Look, this whole Socal elitists is none of my concern. I just do not appreciate hard working volunteers getting bashed for making decisions or mistakes that can be fixed without people on a website dragging them through the mud, this tournament is about giving back to the youth in our communties to give them a brighter future and some of the crap people post on here is exactly why we never move forward and are constantly stuck in ignorance, this is not what Brenda Marsh stood for or was about.

I remember back in 12u every tournament we played we either had Anderson or Impact in our pool or they had each other, both of which were highly regarded teams that always seemed to fight through to the finals. It sucked to always have to face them in pool play. They did not do any "seeding" or "protecting" they just drew teams and that was who you played. Sometimes it just works out that way with no nefarious intentions.

Those may be the circumstances, but, if some of the NorCal folks did make a point of it don't you agree something should have been done to suffice them when they rearranged the pools a couple days ago???

Trust me, we did...Nobody wants to travel that far to play the same old teams..

It's all good and will make the best of it, but no way this was a blind draw...

Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder can see that.....
