12U TOP TEAM RANKING (Bracketologist) Updated After STATE!

by firehouse » Mon Feb 01, 2010 8:38 pm

You may want to check back with Coach, but I think there are more 98's than 4. I think it's more like 4 97's. This is a young team, but very tough! Catcher will not hesitate to gun ya at 1st or 2nd. Rumor is pitcher & catcher workout together outside of practice. Makes a tough combo!
Anyone know who pitcher is and where she played before? Curious....

OK spaz....sound ridiculous?
My DD has begged her catcher to workout with her or at least show up to pitch/catch practice and she can't even manage to make that. Makes it tough to trust catcher during a game. At least for those two kids if they are working out together, they've got a jump on things and sounds like they're building that game time trust. More power to them! Looking forward to watching them in action!

They hung tough...no doubt....but they didn't score a run in either game...a run for their money?

and when is that boom box going to stop??? pumping the death metal early in the game...and then I hear...

Before I leave, brush my teeth with a bottle of Jack
Cause when I leave for the night, I ain’t coming back

Get a clue and get some class.....The boombox cooler is worn out and
makes you look ridiculous.
I'm gonna take this right foot, and I'm gonna whop you on that side of your face...and you wanna know something? There's not a damn thing you're gonna be able to do about it!

Said scores were 0-0 up to bottom of 4th in 3 of 4 games. Don't know who pitcher was. Must not have been too bad if games were that close. Someone posted scores on NorCal link, they lost to Team Anderson 0-1. Not to bad since Team Anderson won tourney. Good team!

I am with um errr Valley Frenzy Aztecs Elite Gold

I dont really care how many 98's or 97's they have and they do not even play in the SoCal State Tourney so how the heck are they going to make anything interesting in SoCal ?????

Again I think they are a good team and the coach did a good job. but Charlie had a good point too the Boom Box is not cool & they need to score to win.

You have deviated from the subject: young ladies looking to play at a high level of competition. May I re-summarize my point when I say that I look forward to watching these athletes grow and develop as a team. They, like the rest of the A-ball community, work hard and look forward to seeing tough teams. They will travel as much and as far as feasible to do so. Ok, maybe for some of you, they won't necessarily shake up your SoCal world since they don't play you're states, but they're gonna do their best to bring a little NorCal competition to your neck of the woods.
Oh, and please don't drag insults toward a team of 11 & 12 year olds' IPod playlists into this discussion. That's already been discussed at length on another thread. Your problem with it should be brought up with the coaching staff at the time of incident... but, from what I understand, your disgust with it is kinda the reason they get a big kick out of playing it so much...
